A Scenic Walk from Varkala to Kappil in South India
An ardent passion for nature's beautiful beauty brought me and my group of trainees to Varkala. It is a unique place that lies 50km north to the city of Thiruvananthapuram and is rather well-known for a scintillating Papanasam Beach. I was heading a group of 7 trainees, who have been an ardent fan of nature and desired to go for a beautiful walk and even do some camping to enjoy the vacation to the utmost. Varkala is the perfect location to experience the very best views around and we set on a satisfying walk for 1 hour and a half. In fact, it was a promenade constructed by the Department of Tourism that paved way for us to get a kick out of a walk that keeps us near the Mother Nature.
While going on the northern end of Varkala, we happened to pass Odayam and stopped for a while. The beach side with cliff was so unique that we might not stop ourselves from taking few photos.
We also took place to find out about the Chinese fishing internet and their history. It was actually remarkable to see such a substantial internet being used to capture fishes. Undoubtedly, a few of the fishers likewise revealed us a range of fishes captured by them. Some looked so uncommon; while, many had a mix of various colors. And certainly, I took their pictures too. From there on, we had fun with our ball on the beach and ate South Indian specials readily available at the treats parlors there. I would state that our walk to Kappil started on an excellent note.
From there on, me and my group of students movinged towards the next stop called as Edava. In fact, it is a seaside village in Thiruvananthapuram that stretches for quite long. What attracted us to this stunning location is that it is surrounded with happily standing cliff, golden sandy beaches and beautiful backwaters with canals as well as lakes.
It was genuinely magnificent and we all were surprised on seeing such a practical beauty that has managed or acquire recognition on the world map. All of us stopped there and put down our bags to delight in a best holiday at the real location.
After passing Odayam and Edava, we reached the exotic place called Kappil. If you are ready to come to this location and enjoy the beautiful appeal, the nearby airport will be Trivandrum Airport that lies at a distance of 1 hour from the city central. Along with his, taking a trip in the buses is not tough at all and occurs to be gotten in touch with all the major cities in Southern part of India. The overall trip was truly pleasurable and I went back with my group having lovable memories of this lovely place.
